Yoga for your life. Not for your Instagram.
I’m Kelley Curran, the founder of Well & Kell, a community-based yoga practice rooted in accessibility, thoughtful movement, and real life. I teach in-person yoga classes in the Hudson Valley, NY, with weekly classes in Athens, Coxsackie, and Ravena, as well as online.
My work is grounded in one simple belief: yoga should support your life — not ask you to fit into someone else’s version of it.
Why I Teach This Way
Yoga can feel intimidating. Especially if you’re new, working with pain, injury, or a body that doesn’t match what’s often shown online.
I know that feeling personally.
Living with osteoarthritis in both knees changed the way I practiced — and ultimately, the way I teach. I learned firsthand that rigid shapes and one-size-fits-all cues don’t serve real bodies over time.
There is no such thing as too old, too inflexible, or too broken for yoga.
That experience reshaped my approach and continues to inform every class I teach.
What You’ll Experience in My Classes
In my classes, you’ll find:
- Clear, intelligent sequencing
- Options instead of “modifications”
- Use of props to support strength, mobility, and ease
- Space to listen to your body without judgment
I focus on helping students build sustainable practices — ones they can return to again and again.
Yoga isn’t about moving in unison. It’s about moving with intention.
Who I Teach
I work with people of all ages and experience levels, including:
- Beginners and longtime practitioners
- Students managing joint concerns, arthritis, injuries, or other conditions
- Those returning to movement after time away
- Anyone looking for a grounded, welcoming practice
Whether you’re stepping onto a mat for the first time or continuing a long-standing practice, you’re welcome here.
An Invitation
I invite you to let go of what you think yoga should look like — and explore what it could feel like instead.
If you’re looking for a practice that meets you where you are and supports where you’re going, I’d love to practice with you.
